The department of mathematics of Université Paris 13 offers at least 4 one-year fellowships for students having completed a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and willing to prepare a Master 1 degree in Mathematics.

The program provides a strong background in Algebra and Analysis, as well as in Probability and Statistics. It prepares to the two branches of our Master 2, namely the ``M2 Préparation au concours de l'Agrégation de Mathématiques'' (for students from France or EU), and our ``M2 Mathématiques Fondamentales'', which proposes high level courses in the following themes represented in the department:

•    Arithmetic and algebraic geometry,
•    Algebraic topology,
•    Ergodic theory and dynamical systems,
•    Mathematical Physics and PDEs,
•    Probability theory.

Candidates are expected to be outstanding students in mathematics who have completed the first three years of university.

The department offers a financial support of 700 euros per month during 10 months, and will cover a return air or train ticket (economy class).

Applications should be made on line. The candidates must fill a form and upload
